Mr. Wu was diagnosised at a local clinic with cholangiocellular carcinoma postoperative, hepatitis b virus, hepatitis cirrhosis, splenomegaly. On July 29th 2009, he has a liver resection under general anesthesia in a hospital in Wuhan + microwave-coagulation. Leaves after right hepatic low differentiation of cholangiocellular carcinoma with Portal vein of liver cirrhosis. On Sept 3rd, 2009, chemotherapy after surgery in the hospital; same year, September 24th, interventional treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma. Since then, respectively on Nov, 2009, May and July 2010. Received 6 courses of CIK cells treatment, total of 18 transfusions at The People's Liberation Army 309 hospital. The treatment went as expected, no adverse reactions, highly improved the patient’s quality of life. Transfusion tests and comparison of image shows: tumor marker levels decreased significantly, not shown with signs of recurrence and metastasis after 10 months of CIK treatment. Thus, CIK cells therapy shows good prevention of recurrence and metastasis of cancer cells, and improved patient’s immunity, and improved the quality of life.
