In the early 2011, Mr. Yang underwent a sarcoma surgery on his back. The surgery went smoothly and the sarcoma was removed from his back succussfully. However, there is presence of pulmonary metastases three months later. Then, he recieved chemotherapy to inhibit the growth of the tumors in the lung. What was worse, the tumor on his bakc grew again in two months after the chemotherapy. Then, he recieved several rounds of chemotherapy and became weak gradually, which is attributed to the serious side effects oc chemotherapy, including weight loss, poor appetite and loss of hair.

In April 2001, Mr. Yang Xiuwen went to the People's Liberation Army 309 hospital with his family members. On the basis of the patient's condition at that time, Dr. Niu, the Chief officer of the International Cancer Treatment Center, decided to apply argon-helium knife treatment for that it could successfully and massively reduced the size of tumor.
