Buffett, considered the most successful investor of the 20th century of the United States, wrote a letter to the stockholders of Bershire Hathaway Inc. that he had been diagnosed as prostatic carcinoma in 17th, April. However, he said optimistically in the letter that he was feeling pretty good and his current condition was not life-threatening.
Beffett stated in the letter that he had been diagnosed as the first stage of prostatic carcinoma in the 11th day of this month. The doctor decides to start a period of two months of radiotherapy from mid-July. What’s more, Buffett indicated that cancer had not spread yet and he was feeling well presently. He said that “my current condition is almost as same as previous healthy state and I am still energetic.”

According to United States Cancer Society, if the first stage of prostatic carcinoma does not spread, the patients’ five year survival rate is close to 100% after treatment.
