Mr. Malcolm, who was 66 years old, was diagnosed with colon cancer in January, 2007. Then, he received the sigmoidectomy, partial excision of left artery and ureter. Unfortunately, infiltrating colon cancer with low differentiation developed after the surgery and the tumor reoccurred after one year. The imaging tests showed that the tumor had invaded the psoas major and further produced the blockage of ureter. However, the examination indicated that the cancer cells were still spreading after he received the chemotherapy. Finally, the doctor had choice but to suggest giving up further treatment.

Actually, his condition is not as bad as imagined and the God opened another window for him. In March, 2008, Malcolm came to China for better treatment. After a series of careful analysis, a panel of experts who in charge of his case made a personalized treatment plan on the basis of his special condition: a combined therapy of argon-helium knife (a kind of minimal invasive surgery), mild chemotherapy, gene therapy, anti-angiogenesis therapy and biological immunotherapy. Enlarged lymph nodes around the inguinal region disappeared and the lumps in the pelvic cavity necrosed after the treatment, along with the absence of pain. In general, Mr. Malcolm was very satisfied with the overall therapeutic effect. Two months later, he was discharged from the hospital and he returned to his own country. He is still healthy and alive till now.
